JAMES DUERDEN

Seen as a direct successor to Shapeshifter, Interchange was developed in collaboration with Warner Media in order to bring their characters to life in the real world.

Whereas Shapeshifter used a Valve Index, Interchange uses the Varjo XR-3, a powerful mixed reality headset complete with passthrough video cameras, Ultraleap hand tracking, depth sensors, and automatic IPD adjustments.

The project incorporates all of the features of Shapeshifter for a quicker experience, and has been set up to allow multiple users through Normcore.
