PROJECT MANDY
Project Mandy was an extensive project that began development during my placement year. It was designed as an educational game for students of social care courses, in order to provide them with home visit experience without exposing them to any potential dangers involved.
Since the team was small, it was up to myself and my games designer to create the basis for the game. As the project would take more time to make than I had time on my placement, as well as factoring in the variable skill levels of future programmers, I built the game in Unreal Engine, as it allows for quicker blueprint editing and easier ways to handle AI.
